5 Tips of Well Being



Tons to do around the house, waking up early in the morning, college, preparing the kids for school, etc. Whatever it is that you do on a day to day bases it's important to find balance/peace -if not you'll go crazy. 

Here are a few tips to keep you from going insane.. 
  1. Meditate - Going into a quiet room alone  and clearing your mind of the days chaos is always a good idea. 
  2. Literature - Reading is an easy way to calm your day. I'm not saying go out and pick up a giant Stephen King novel -a magazine will work just fine as well. 
  3. Whine down - For some this consist of reclining with some sort of drink (tea, wine, or a fruit detox water). I like to listen to Jazz or some old school music ( Al Green, Anita Baker, The Whispers, to name a few) with a glass of wine (tea during the day). 
  4. Lists - Writing to-do lists are extremely helpful for clearing out everything in your head. I personally enjoy making lists, they help me remember all the things I need to do. I write them on sticky notes and in my phone as well using the app One Note. To-do lists will make your day feel productive.
  5. Me Time - Now let's discuss the essential -me time. Enjoy your favorite show (Being Mary Jane) with a glass of wine and kick your feet up, take yourself to lunch or to see a film, do some much needed retail therapy, etc. 

Remember it's all about balance.
