GQ

Just got in from a trip to one of my favorite stores, Walgreen's! I picked up laundry detergent, Mascara, and a GQ. Can we all just pause and appreciate Justin on the cover?! The slay here is just flawless -everything just flows and his suit compliments the cover. I've grown to love who Justin has become - from his music to his style.

Flipping through this mag I was so inspired by the styling. One thing I don't like about most fashion magazines is the looks are too runway, but this GQ is perfect! I'll be pulling inspiration from menswear this summer and you should too!

Classic Nike Cortez (Look #1)

Here's my first look styling a pair of Nike Cortez in a more chilled way. This was my outfit Sunday morning making a run to Walmart and to the mall to exchange a dress that I bought in a size small for some strange reason (I haven't worn a small in ages!) This being a quick run I wanted to dress as comfortable as possible in a pair of jeans and a crew neck.....and a hat of course because I'm having a bad hair MONTH!

My second look will be up in two days.
DETAILS:
Strap-back: Lids
Crew Neck: Walmart
 Jeggings: Walmart
Shoes: Nike Cortez
Purse: Coach
Lips: M.A.C 'Cyber'

"Bazinga!"

When you have no clue what to wear go with black. I dug out my Sheldon "bazinga" shirt and black skinny pants for a day out with my mommy at the mall. I picked up a pair of Nike Cortez ( go to my Instagram to see my shoes HTTP://instagram.com/londen_sloan ) and I also bought a Serta mattress even though I wanted to spend that money on clothes and more shoes.

How To Style: Mom Jeans

Am I the only one that can't stand skinny jeans at the moment?!

The comfy "mom jeans" and their infamous cuffs have made their way into my wardrobe and I love them. I plan on adding a variety of jeans to my collection because at the moment it consists of too many skinny jeans!

Here's the second look on how I style mom jeans the first look is on my channel. Head on over and let me know that you think. Click link (https://youtu.be/uyCrdUGxUzo or search Londen Sloan)

The Carlton

I've always loved what I call the "Carlton Look" ('The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air') the timeless sweater over the shoulders. It gives a very clean put together look and paired with loafers just pulls it all together. Its easy to wear this for a day of shopping with your favorite day bag or an evening dining at your favorite restaurant. Head over to my YouTube channel to see my adventures in this outfit. Click link (https://youtu.be/i4ejRetPgL8 or search Londen Sloan)

A Good Revamping!

Ugh to my closet! Ugh this looks a mess on me! Just ugh to my overall style!

Am I the only one with a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear?! Tons of shoes yet not the look you're going for?! I plan on going shopping for essential pieces staying away from what looks good at the moment. I've been putting looks together in my head of what I want to be known for while finding inspiration in...

The always fashion forward, Solange Knowles! Her expression is so free to me. A very organic style that I've adored for years now. Honestly guys it's just time for something new, I'm 27 my style should ooze elegance --in my opinion. Stay tuned!

Airport Fashion

One of my favorite films from the great John Hughes is 'Home Alone'. As much as I could watch this movie everyday I try to watch it only during the holidays. After watching it last year I noticed how much fashion has changed while traveling. It's become more about comfort than presents and I'm not sure I'm a fan. Now I understand how important it is to be as comfortable as possible, but the obsessive side of me says fashion, fashion, fashion! I miss the trench coats on top of blazers, the dancing legs of dress pants, the pumps and loafers --the presence of elegance of those with somewhere to be.

This is what traveling has evolved into --for the most part...

Which style do you prefer, comfy or dress suits?

A Bird & A Leopard

I've never been one to obey the "no white after Labor Day" rule --I bought it so I'm going to wear it! One thing I love about fashion is mixing prints and one of the best ways is in white jeans. They give such a clean fresh look. I decided to go with this printed bird button down and leopard heels. To me the pants being white allows this look to flow.
Don't be afraid to mix it up and don't follow the rules --create your own.
What are your favorite prints to mix?!
